Exercising whilst on holiday, should we shouldn’t we…?
This is something I get asked a lot, can I have a plan for while I’m away and then a lot of the time it’s not done. Here’s my thoughts and factors that may influence your choices whilst away;
-Length of time your away for
-Training for an event
-Climate and schedule while your away
-Child care
So many factors can limit you whilst being away and I personally think try and decide before you go if you want to exercise or not, this way it removes any guilt if you don’t get any in!
If you’re walking thousands of steps every day you probably won’t have the energy to exercise. Also if your only away for a week and have nothing specific to train for a break can do your body the world of good!
If you do want to like I did this trip then make use of the new environment and get out for runs, hikes or body weight training it’s a great way to explore the area!
