Warkworth Athletics Warkworth Athletics Club Nights run on Wednesdays during Term 4 and Term 1 Getting kids moving. Making new friends. (Registrations open in September)
Ages 4 - 14.

Warkworth Athletics Club is all about empowering our Tamariki - young and teen athletes. Enjoying sport; And bringing our community together. We are a parent volunteer lead club making sport affordable and will always support those who want to take their skills further with professional trainers on hand each night. Athletics Club runs through summer across terms 1 & 4. All levels welcome!

ATTN HARRIERS: keen runner young or old- please join us!

This week we will have 3 runs available.

Tuesday June 2nd 5pm: Warkworth Showgrounds, meet by the toilet block. Long slow run around the outside of the showgrounds and bush trail.

Thursday June 4th 5pm: Goodall Reserve, Snells Beach. Meet in the tennis club carpark. Long warmup followed by an interval session.

Sunday June 7th 9:30am: Wenderholm Regional Park. Meet at the main carpark near the beach. Longer bush run. Only suited to those runners who can run for 45-55 minutes.

This weekend Hunter and Delta joined Oratia to enter the Lynndale Junior Relay. Hunter had his best run this season with a super fast first leg for his team. Delta ran twice for 2 teams to help with numbers. Such an amazing effort.

Today was the first of the Grand Prix series for the harriers with the Pukekohe cross country. It was a super tough course will long grass and heaps of hills. Our Warkworth runners did an amazing job and came home with some great times. Delta came 3rd in the U10 girls race with a great run. What a way to start the season.
