Two weeks to go. We appreciate early entries so we can work out how many arenas to put up. We got 64 entries last time so lets hope we can get more this time!
A few facts and interesting things about our days.
a) The arenas are prepared well in advance and benefit from a wonderful grooming efforts of Johnny Hustler and team
b) For the unaffiliated tests you can ride in bitless bridles. Yes its true and would like to see you out and about.
c) You can also ride in Western gear. We're not bothered. We just want your gear to be safe and you to be comfortable.
d) We will be having a BBQ. From 11am onwards and this time will be located near the Beans 'n' Berries coffee cart.
e) The lovely Veronica has put copies of the Unaffiliated, USDF tests, on the schedule part of EVO when you login to our event.

Entries open for WRC Dressage on Sunday 20th September and thanks to those who have already put in their entries. We had 64 entries last time and hoping for more this time. What we are doing is speaking to the flu and weather gods in the hope that both are in better form.

Just wanted to clarify a few points.

We love having WRC members and love having non-members just as much!

Some term busters. Registered is registered with ESNZ for dressage starts. Both horse and rider.

Unaffiliated, USDF, means not registered with the above organisation and also means unregistered.

USDF are similar although not exactly the same in all instances. If you are doing unaffiliated and unregistered then Veronica has put up the tests for you in EVO.

In EVO check the schedule for your competition grade, registered or unaffiated, to see how the series works for rosettes and championship rugs etc. You might be surprised.

Today's good news. We always like good news. There is now only one EVO entry point for entering our event. Registered ESNZ and Unaffiliated classes now have the same entry point! That's right!
a) Benefits our administrators, Veronica Wedlake, Kym Murdoch and Elly as everything in one place.
b) Benefits our WRC members in that no confusion on claiming the club membership discount
c) Benefits all those doing an entry - only one place to look
I do like the new EVO interface. Everything in one place. I entered Cruz today and could see everything in one place.

After and amazingly positive day with our riders we have two more sponsors to thank.

First, Priority projects who sponsored the unaffiliated, preliminary level 1 classes today. Some lovely ponies and tests on display!

Second, our own Andrea Marsden Dressage Coach, not only sponsors the musicals at all levels, but provided some lovely expertise with Chris to get through the musicals today! We had a lot of fun thanks.
