Tūī is such a cool chap. Very correct conformation. And very solidly build.
He’s had a bit of handling and a trim, super friendly guy.

Tūī’s dam is super quiet, we can literally put anyone on her, just a great temperament and he seems to be very similar to her.

These photos are not all recent, he’s even solider now 😁 can get some more photos for anyone interested.

Little life update… 🤗

This season you probably haven’t seen me out much on the circuit. Unfortunately, very early on I had an accident (young horse) which left me with quite a serious concussion and whiplash injury. It really threw a spanner in the works and changed a lot, not just from a competition perspective, but for the business as well.

The first couple of months were pretty agonising, non-stop migraines and worst of all, constant dizziness. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have such a great support system, with riders stepping in to help keep everything ticking along. It really does take a village.

After about six months, I slowly started getting back out there again which was mainly trekking for a change, as jumping and even too much trotting would still trigger headaches. It’s actually been a nice change of scenery.
I’m now about nine months post-accident and only just starting to feel more like myself over the past month or so. I’ve started jumping and doing more advanced dressage again (yay 🥹).

It’s been a slow journey, but I’m finally on the road back and aiming for a return to the competition scene next season.

Can’t wait to be back out there with my big chestnut 🧸❤️

Anyway, here’s a little throwback to Valentino Deluxe cruising around the 2* at NHB ✨

Jasper ✨ 7yo Gelding | 15.2–15.3hh by Turn Me LooseAvailable on behalf

Raw video showing what we were working on yesterday (a lot of canter work)

Jasper is a kind, genuine OTTB who has been straightforward to bring back into work — but he is still green and early in his education.

He’s been off the track ~2 years with let-down, groundwork, and light schooling (not consistent full-time work).
He’s very obliging and wants to please in that flat, he is still green in his canter transitions (hence was one put a few in this video to show). Stands very well at the mounting block. We’ve popped him over some jumps and he know what he is doing (would benefit from a bit more topline and strength as he has been out of work for a while) We have taken him on two outings to the forest for hacking and he was super! The first time he jig jog for probably a max of like two mintues at the start and the second time he was perfect from the get go. He just needs mileage. (Videos of hacking are available also on the page and also more flatwork videos too).

To avoid confusion:Jasper is not a finished horse or schoolmaster and won’t suit beginners or riders wanting a ready-made mount.

He will suit a competent rider looking for a genuine, kind project horse to continue producing.

He is honest, kind, and tries hard, that has not shown any nastiness — just needs mileage!

He comes with a full wardrobe of rugs, 5 rugs summer through to 200grams.
His current owner would like to stay in touch with his new owners, he is very special to her.

💰 is negotiable we just want to find him a really cool, loving home

FOR S ALE - JASPER ✨

5mins of raw footage 🎥

He is a real sweet heart, he try’s super hard to please.
This video shows you where he is at in his schooling, green but kind. He’s arrived here to be brought back into work and find a new home, he is now about 1.5 weeks back in ridden work and I found him to be straightforward to bring back in 😊

And yes he can jump too!

Introducing Jasper ✨
Available on behalf

All the hard work has been done — Jasper has had the time to let down and establish solid foundations. Now he’s ready to find his person to continue his journey and reap the rewards.

7yo Gelding

By Turn Me Loose

Jasper is a lovely-natured gelding with a kind, soft eye — he really is a sweetheart.

He has been off the track for approximately two years and has been in the same home since retiring (rehomed through Jump Start, Palmerston North). During this time, he has had a good mix of downtime along with schooling and groundwork.

Jasper is now back in work and has been very straightforward to bring back in. He is working kindly on the flat, and we’ve popped him over a couple small fences — he definitely knows what he’s doing, but would benefit from building more strength and fitness before progressing further (he also had some jump training with Jump Start previously).

He has been out hacking in the forest, which he really enjoyed.

Jasper is still green and young, so will suit a competent rider to continue his education. He has all the basics in place and a great attitude — he just needs someone willing to put in the time.

Good to float (SL or Angle) , truck, wash, groom, tack up, etc.

Very genuine reason for s ale — due to work commitments, his owner needs to step away from horses. Jasper is very special to her, so she would love to stay in touch with his new owner.

Jasper will come with a full wardrobe of rugs (summer, 0g, 50g, 100g, and 200g).

Note* Jasper did have a paddock accident as a foal which has left him with minor cloudiness on his left eye. It is barely noticeable, has been checked by vets and does not affect his vision - purely cosmetic.

💰 1700 ono — home is absolutely the priority, and p rice is negotiable to the right home

Happy for sight unseen with references. Viewings welcome, vetting welcome at buyer’s cost.

This is what we do it for, happy horses and owners ✨🥂

Recently I’ve had the pleasure of working with this lovely mare. Lilah needed to come back into work (since break in) and mileage, both in arena and out hacking. She has grown so much over the past 8 weeks, gaining much more confidence in herself, more respectful of aids and developed some solid foundations to continue building on.

We went for a lovely forest ride with her owner this week as a final test before heading home, which went perfectly.

Very happy with the result, happy horse and happy owner. YAY!

Unraced, untrialed, not even a prep, no racing education!
Foaled down, raised and broken in at owners property, and they knew he had the slow bug 🐞 so he was never pursued further to be a racehorse.

Arrived yesterday, very calm. Standing shots and a first ride, very sensible little chap with a brain.
Hadn’t been ridden for a month at least and I could hop straight on, no lunge needed, walk, trot, canter, he’s an absolute delight.

Think he would look stunning in the show ring, park hack potentially 😍 but he quite possibly could just become a cool hack for someone. With a sensible brain like his, he could possibly head down any disciple route.

No known injuries, issues. Has a teeny tiny little scar left front on the cannon bone (which can be seen in the leg shot) but I think it would be very easy to cover up with come makeup if he went done the showing route.

Farrier is booked in. Good hooves, just very due.

Videos available on request, or they will be uploaded in the coming days.

He’s a real GEM 💎 they do not come like this often! I like him

We had Turner on for schooling back in November and was supposed to head back to the track. Turners heart was not in the racing, he loved this little dabble in the sporthorse life so was retired and turned out.
He arrived here Friday 06/03/26 and he has had a quick ride today (first ride since November just to make sure he was the same Turner he was back when he was here for schooling which he was!) and we are looking for a home for him as is.
He’s had many weeks of professional schooling back in October/November.

Was ridden my here by Casey (14yo), Jess (16yo) and myself. Never a hoof out of place. Could suit a teenager wanting to produce there first TB. Has a lovely jump on him, but I think he could make a lovely hacker too.

Turner is very sweet, will follow you all round the paddock.

He has arrived here very much in turn out condition. He will remain 🆓 until the end of the week, however, once we have more time on our hands and pop more time into him, he will have a 💰🏷️

If anyone would like to pop their hand up for him, or have any questions, flick me a message.

Video has also gone up couple days ago. Photo below was taken today post ride ☺️
