YEAR 3&4 BOYS NEEDED!

2026 Temuka Hockey Club Junior Registration - Please complete by Wednesday 25th March.
Hi all,
Registrations are now open to join the Temuka Hockey Club for the upcoming South Canterbury Hockey Season. We welcome all Primary aged children (Year 1 -8) with grades for all ages.
If your child is keen to play hockey please complete the registration form.

Years 1 - 6 play on Tuesdays between the hours of 3.45pm - 6.30pm
Years 7 - 8 Kwik Sticks play on Fridays between the hours of 3.45pm - 7.00pm
The season start dates are:
- Years 1-2 (FunSticks) - will start on Tuesday 5th May,
- Years 3-6 will start on Tuesday 21st April
- Years 7&8 will start on Friday 24th April
To keep our club running we require coaches and committee members. Please if you can do either of those roles, tick the box )

🟢⚫️ Dates are locked in, and Registrations are now open for our Under 13 Year 7 & 8 Development Programme 🟢⚫️

This is an open registration for 7 & 8 athletes who want to participate in a development programme, tournaments and Festivals against teams from Mid Canterbury, Canterbury & Marlborough that aims to extend them beyond their club and school playing experience.

2024 Hockey Prizegiving. Thanks to to everyone who contributed and supported the Temuka Hockey Club this year. Well done to all our players for another great season!

Our club would like to acknowledge the continued support of Guri from The Crown Hotel.

This year with financial assistance from The Crown Hotel we have been able to support our wonderful coaches and mangers.

MONSTER RAFFLE | The SC Hockey Turf Trust in conjunction with HSC are excited to today launch the Monster Raffle in support of the Turf Redevelopment Project 24/25. This raffle is the only contribution that the hockey community is needing to make in order to get this $1.25m project across the line. We are fortunate the Trust has accumulated funds over the years and also attracted external funding to get this project nearer to completion.

All registered HSC players* will be receiving a book of 5 x $10 tickets to sell before 20 August, with the big draw being held on 24 August. Your club/school will be allocated the tickets and they will be distributing them to you in the very near future. You will have the choice of getting out and selling your tickets, approaching friends and family, or buying the tickets yourself. Money from the tickets will be returned to your club/school and they will then forward to the Trust.

There is an exciting lineup of four major prizes to be won totaling $12,000, so not only are people making a donation to a great cause, they have the chance to win an epic prize. If you want to buy tickets but are not a member of a club or school, find someone who is, or you can message us and we can point you in the direction of the Trust for purchasing directly. We are exploring opportunities to purchase these online in the coming weeks also.

We thank the entire hockey community in anticipation for getting in behind this community raffle. It will ensure that we are in a strong position to secure the last of the funding to make sure that our players are playing on a world-class new turf in 2025 that is safer and more accessible to our community.
