ATHLETICS IS BACK!

Athletics Bream Bay is kicking off our season on Monday 12 October at 4:30pm, and this year we’re starting with something a little special!

Our first night will be a FREE GIVE-IT-A-GO NIGHT, in collaboration with Bream Bay Sports Trust. Come down, check out our NEW location at Ruakākā Sports Complex, meet the team and have some fun!

Exciting things are coming at our new location.

We are so grateful to Complete Concrete here in Bream Bay for sponsoring the club a brand new shot-put circle (concrete going down in a month!) and the excavation of a new long jump pit!

This is a great opportunity to support our club, hear about the season ahead, and help shape the future of athletics in Bream Bay.

We're Moving!

Athletics Bream Bay is excited to announce that from the start of the 2026/27 season, we will be relocating to the Ruakākā Sports Hub (Bream Bay Football Grounds).

This marks an exciting new chapter for our club as we continue to grow and strengthen our connection with the local community. Being part of the Ruakākā sporting hub will create new opportunities for participation, collaboration, and help build a strong sporting identity for Bream Bay.

As we look forward to the future, we also want to take a moment to thank Bream Bay College. Their support over the past two years has been instrumental in helping establish and grow Athletics Bream Bay. We are incredibly grateful for the facilities, encouragement, and partnership that have helped us get to where we are today.

We are seeking nominations for 2025 & 2026.

The 2025/2026 Trigg Bream Bay Sports Awards is Friday 19 March 2027 at the Celtic Barn, Waipu.

Behind every athlete is a coach who gives up their evenings, weekends and countless hours to inspire, encourage and help others achieve their best.

Bunnings' Coaching Legends is celebrating the incredible volunteer coaches who make grassroots sport possible. It's a fantastic opportunity to recognise someone from our athletics community who goes above and beyond for our athletes and club.
