Well THAT was a game! 😂🔥

With only 3 games under their belts, the growth in our Wāhine had the coaching staff absolutely gobsmacked today!

Minus the spews 🤮, accidental hair pulling 🫣 and the TikTok warm-ups that are apparently part of the game plan now 🤦🏻‍♀️😂… our ladies showed us something pretty damn special.

With pretty much only our kids as subs, these ladies played almost the entire game under fatigue, tired bodies, sore everything 😂 but they NEVER EVER gave up. They kept turning up for each other right until that final whistle. 💚🧡

Massive mihi to all our supporters, especially our Senior Men who turned up to tautoko and help out with the game. Having you fellas there definitely gave our girls an extra boost!

And a big well done to Arataki Bears. Thank you for a tough, competitive but bloody nice game to watch. 👏🏽

Training’s been full of giggles, headlocks, no ears and a bit of actual ball handling in between 😂🤼‍♀️

Now let’s see if they can turn all that carry-on into some POINTS today! 😂🏉

Here’s a little taste of what goes on behind the scenes at our Wāhine trainings 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

We’ve got a Coach trying to coach, a Trainer trying to train… and a whole bunch of Wāhine who apparently left their EARS AT HOME 😂😂
Instructions? Optional.
Listening? Never heard of her.
Laughter? UNLIMITED.
Vibes? Absolutely unmatched. 😂🔥

Somehow amongst all the talking, laughing, wrong directions and “OI, I JUST SAID THAT!”… we actually manage to get some training done 😂

But that’s what makes our crew OUR crew. The vibes, the laughter, the chaos and the complete lack of ears 😂🧡💚
Wouldn’t have it any other way… although our Coach and Trainer might disagree 😂😂

Morena everyone, Our wahine team have defaulted this weekends game vs Mango Hawks due to a lot being mauiui and recovering from injury.

Don’t get me wrong. The tough buggers were still trying to play however the management staff wouldn’t be doing their jobs if we allowed them to play and get others sick.

On that note…… Good luck to all the teams taking the field one last time this season for finals.
