Introducing our new iwi rep to lead us going forward. Jacqs has been involved in our kaupapa as a coach for a few national tournaments, & now takes on the leadership for the next phase for Poitūkohu Rongomaiwahine 🫡

Born and raised in Kirikiriroa Waikato Tainui, My bloodline runs deep within Rongomaiwahine. I’m honoured to be given this opportunity from my Whanaunga.
I have spent years supporting my tamariki with their sporting journeys by giving them the most precious thing we can give, time.
From the sideline to the bench coaching and mentoring our rangatahi. Giving back to my community and now my iwi I’ll always be proud of.
Another year to look forward to, as we leave the land of Te Arawa and make our way to Kahungunu.
Representing not only my whakapapa but my iwi, hapu & Whānau.”

Tēnā tātou e te iwi,
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for players for selection into our Wāhine and Tāne teams for the Indigenous Basketball Australia(IBA) All Stars. Each team will play one official All Star Game during the tour.

EOI close on Sunday 26 April at 11:59pm.

Eligibility Requirements:
🟢Whakapapa Māori
🟢18 years or older by 5 July 2026
🟢Available for the full tour: 5–9 July 2026
🟢Commitment to all tour expectations
🟢Have an association with promoting and supporting Poitūkohu Māori
