We’ve been pretty quiet on the racing front but working hard behind the scenes with an exciting young team to look forward to! Ripicola our only runner today ran an honest race and loved the firm track, we’ve had stunning weather of late which makes the work day all the more enjoyable. Ashburton trials today where we had two runners in. Valora Cara (Eminent ex Brilliant Tavi) was having her first outing and gained valuable experience. Querida (Embellish ex De Kensington Oval) Stephanie Tierney flew the gates and lead all the way to win her heat stylishly! Thanks to Donovan Cooper and Brie Ng for the rides 🍀🍀

A bit late posting but it was really satisfying to see Moussaieff put in a great run for 3rd at Ashburton on Friday. He was wide with no cover the trip but fought strongly and tried hard, he’s been xtra tricky of late so we are delighted to get this result for him and his connections! Mountain of Light tried hard also finishing just past midfield, thanks to Donovan Cooper and Leah Hemi for the rides and all my team 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

Xmas Eve racing at Ashburton today. Both our runners Mr Pacquiao and Ripicola put in honest performances finishing 4th and 5th respectively. A pleasant day in very hot conditions, thanks to Kendra Bakker and Donovan Cooper for the rides and all my team 🍀🍀🍀

We had a great time yesterday hosting a wonderful group of people at our stable open day for National Thoroughbred Week. Cup week 2025 had it all, fantastic racing and the craziest of weather! Solid performances from Mountain of Light, Tiffanee and Ripicola, but our best run was certainly Moussaieff who ran a very good race for 2nd placing on cup day. Lucky we were in race 2, as it wasn’t long after that the storm hit, we had just got our horses back to the stables and rushed them into their nice warm boxes to take shelter! Thanks to Donovan Cooper, Leah Hemi, Kendra Bakker and Bruno Quirez for the rides, and all my team 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀.
