World Cup fever has officially arrived!

The FIFA World Cup kicks off today, and the best part is you can catch the action live right here in New Zealand on TVNZ! All Whites matches are free-to-air, so there’s no excuse to miss out on backing the boys.

Make sure you clear your calendar and set your reminders for the All Whites' very first group stage game:

🗓️ Tuesday 16 June
🕐 1:00 PM (NZT)
⚽️ All Whites vs. Iran

Who are you backing to go all the way this year?

It’s that time of the year! Team Photo Night is tonight. With 30 teams to get through, we need to keep things moving like clockwork, so please arrive right on your allocated time.

Quick Checklist:
Gear: Full game-day kit (RSFC shirt, black shorts, black socks) and clean boots!

Seniors: Please arrive from 8:00 PM. We often run ahead of schedule later in the night, so be ready to jump in early.

Parents: To keep things moving quickly, only coaches, managers, and game-day leaders are allowed in the photo area.

Dinner sorted: The kitchen and bar will be open from 5:00 PM, so grab a bite or a drink while you wait!

While you're at the clubrooms, don't forget to grab an Oxford Pies order form! With the school holidays just around the corner, it's the perfect time to stock up the freezer for quick winter meals.

Every pie bought helps us raise funds to install lights on our new pitch—a massive project that's going to give our players amazing opportunities for night training and games.

Orders & Payment due: By end of day, Tuesday 23 June (no payment, no order).

Delivery & Collection: Wednesday 1 July. Note: You must collect your pies on this day as we don't have overnight fridge space!

Forms are available at the clubrooms.

Thank you for helping us make our club even better for the kids!

Its the thing we really hate to do - but the weather at Te Poi is consistent rain and with the weather watch in place we feel its just going to get progressivly worse, we are so sorry we have to disappoint our First Kicks Players tonight, we hope they aren't too upset with us.

Happy Birthday to an absolute legend of our club, Sandy! 🎂🥳

We love this photo of Sandy alongside another one of our amazing Life Members, Heather. They might be proudly rocking the player shirts here, but fun fact—neither of them has ever actually laced up a pair of boots for us!

It just goes to show you don't need to play the game to be the absolute heartbeat of it. Sandy is an RSFC Life Member, a former Secretary for both RSFC and Te Poi, and the current Treasurer of Te Poi.

While she brings a wealth of knowledge to our governance and constitution, her real superpower is how she looks after our people. She is an incredible mentor, a reliable soundboard, and the ultimate cheerleader for our committee members and our club. Honestly, where would we be without her in our corner?

Sandy, we hope your special day is filled with heaps of love and laughter. Thank you for everything you do for our whānau! ❤️

Nothing beats a full house at Te Poi, and this Saturday is going to be a big one. It’s the first of our two major club days for the season, with all four of our senior men's teams playing back-to-back right here.

If you’ve got some free time this weekend, pop down to the park. The kitchen and bar will be open, the atmosphere is going to be awesome, and the boys would love the sideline support.

Bring the family down and let's make a day of it!

Tomorrow afternoon, we are coming together for an event that is incredibly close to all of our hearts here at RSFC. 💗

Right after both of our women's games wrap up, we’ll be hosting our annual Pink Ribbon Afternoon Tea up in the clubrooms.

This is always one of the most meaningful days on our club calendar. It’s a chance for our whānau to come together, share some food, and show our love and support for the many families in our community who have been affected by breast cancer.

We would love to see the clubrooms full of warmth and connection, so please bring your family, your friends, and your neighbours along for a beautiful afternoon.

See you tomorrow!

Bit of a laugh for your Friday! 😅 Anyone else feel completely seen by this?

We all know the hustle that goes into game day prep—the endless planning, the patience, and the military-grade coordination it takes across the family just to get our players to the right pitch on time. It honestly takes a village, and a damn good community, to make it all happen every single weekend.

Thank you for being such an awesome part of ours! ❤️

Ahead of the games this weekend, here are a few friendly reminders to help keep those game day logistics running smoothly for everyone:

⚽️ The Gear Checklist:

Uniform: Playing shirt (if yours hasn't arrived yet, a plain black shirt is perfect), plain black shorts, and plain black socks.

Shin pads: A must-have! No shin pads, no play.

Water: Don’t forget a full drink bottle.

📲Team WhatsApp Chats:

Your team chats are a goldmine of info. If you're looking for a specific detail, try using the search function in the chat first.

If you see a question pop up in the chat and you know the answer, jump right in and reply! It takes a massive amount of pressure off our volunteer coaches and managers.

📍 Where are you playing?

It’s super helpful to check Google maps the night before so you know exactly where you're heading. Make sure to allow a bit of extra time for traffic and finding a park, as spaces fill up fast on Saturday mornings.

Let’s make this weekend another epic one!

Blue skies, sunshine, and a park full of football, Saturdays really don’t get much better than today!

What another epic round of games for the RSFC whānau. It was so awesome seeing everyone out on the grass giving it their all.

A massive well done to all our players, coaches, and supporters. Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙌

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women in our RSFC whānau!

Whether you’re the sideline cheerleader, the coach the player, the manger, the volunteer or the one constantly finding the missing shin pads—today is for you.

We celebrate all our mums, grandmums, aunties, and mother figures who make our club feel like home. Sending extra love to those who find today a little harder, too.

Thank you for being the heartbeat of our community.
