What a season it’s been!

From chilly water to weather that didn’t always cooperate, it certainly wasn’t the easiest season — but our swimmers kept turning up, giving it their all, and cheering each other on every step of the way.

To our incredible families, swimmers, volunteers and coaches — thank you. Your support, patience and commitment are what make our club so special 💙

What a beautiful, hot day to kick things off! The pool is open and ready for our last week of lessons.

After a season that hasn’t always been easy (hello cold pool and unpredictable weather!), we are so proud of our swimmers who kept turning up and giving it their all. Your resilience has been amazing 💙

Pool & Lesson Update: 9th Feb 2026 🏊‍♀️

Arrowtown Memorial Pool will be closed on Mondays for the next couple of weeks due to staff shortages.

Lesson changes:
- Remaining lessons will now run on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6pm and 6:30pm
- Friday Ribbon Nights remain

Week of 23 Feb: Tuesday, Thursday + Final Ribbon Night & Prizegiving

Pool hours (9–22 Feb): Tue–Sat 11am–6pm | Closed Sun & Mon
End of season at AMP: 21 Feb
Swim Club runs until: 27 Feb
AMP passes valid at Alpine Aqualand & Wānaka Rec Centre until: 1 Mar

Thanks for your patience – we can’t wait to see everyone in the water! 💦

Unfortunately we've had an unlucky couple of weeks losing some lifeguards unexpectedly at both Alpine Aqualand and Arrowtown Memorial Pool (AMP). We're not able to cover all the shifts required to operate AMP safely.

There will be reduced hours at AMP between Monday 9 February and Sunday 22 February. The pool will be open Tuesday to Saturday 11.00am - 6.00pm (closed Sunday and Monday).

The end of season date will be Saturday 21 February.

Arrowtown Swimming Club will still run until 28 February.

AMP member passes will work at Alpine Aqualand and Wānaka Recreation Centre until 1 March.

Unfortunately the weather isn’t on our side today - Monday 2 February 2026, so swim lessons are cancelled tonight.

We’ve got everything crossed 🤞 that the weather clears up for tomorrow Night.
