The wait is over! 🏉 Our CMRFU Girls Rippa Rugby season is officially underway.

Join us every Wednesday for some mid-week action:

Juniors (Y1–6): 5:30 PM

Seniors (Y7–10): 6:15 PM

Most of the magic happens at Karaka, but we’ll be spreading the talent across our other club home fields throughout the season. Make sure to check the draw online so you don't miss a game!

We’ve had a quick shuffle, so make sure you check out Version 2 of the draw before heading down!

We are still all go for this Sunday, May 17th, at Waiuku Rugby Club—it’s going to be a massive day of rugby and community vibes.

Here’s what’s happening on and off the field:

👓 FREE VISION SCREENING: Thanks to the legends at Mana Vision, we’re offering free eye tests for anyone aged 12–18. Siblings are welcome to join in too—just be sure to register via the link in our bio (Linktree)!

☕ FUEL UP: The Waiuku Rugby Tuck Shop will be pumping all day with snacks and hot coffee. Get around them and support the hosting club!

🌭 POST-MATCH TREATS: We’ve got a FREE sausage sizzle ready for all our Rippa girls right after their final game.

🏆 AWARDS: Don't forget to head to HQ after your last match for the Player of the Day awards!

Bring your gear, grab your tents, and come soak up some fun in the sun. We can’t wait to see you all there!

GET READY FOR THE GIRLS RIPPA FESTIVAL! 🏉✨

Join us this Sunday, May 17th, at Waiuku Rugby Club for a massive day of rugby and community vibes! We’ve got plenty happening on and off the field to keep everyone fueled and ready to play.

Here’s what’s happening:

The countdown is ON! 🗣️ We are so excited to kick off our Girls Rippa Program with a Skills Clinic this Wednesday, May 6th!

We’re starting with our Junior Clinics (Y0-6) this week. To make sure we hit the grass running, please check the station allocations, field map, and your designated starting point ahead of time. We’ll be rotating through skills and kicking off at 6:00 PM sharp! 🏃‍♀️💨

🗓️ Wednesday, May 6th: Juniors (Y0-6)
🗓️ Wednesday, May 13th: Seniors (Y7-10)
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM start

We are officially KICKING OFF today at Karaka Rugby Club, and we couldn’t be more hyped to debut our brand-new Year 9/10 grade! The future of the game is looking bright. 🌟

58 teams across 8 competitions will go head-to-head in the battle for 2026 silverware 😤

With several competitions incorporating teams from Auckland, North Harbour and Waikato, the contests are set to be highly competitive.

Draws will be released on Monday 2 March, with Round 1 kicking off on 28 March.

Get down to your local club and be part of the action as the season gets underway.
