Area pair entries close end of august this is held at our club on the 12th September so make sure your playing.
And If any club members wish to put there name forward for selection for the Tri series Tournament in dobson on the 14th of November please let club selectors know.
And got the program for the sth islands yesterday plenty of time to prepare.

Area mixed pairs results 2026
Cheers Marlborough for hosting.
Both our Motueka pairs managed to qualify for the main round.
Robbie Channells and Jamie Taylor went out to Grant retter and Barbara Bryson from the Marlborough club.
But on his return to the oche Hayden Smith and his mixed pairs partner Karyn Smith made it through to the final were they ran in to grant and Barbara in the final a great game with a great result, well done Hayden and Karyn well deserved 2026 Nelson Marlborough mixed pairs champions.

Results from the 59th national tournament held at the Richmond club in Christchurch.

Mixed pairs Rob and Jamie played well but hit the wrong side of the wire when the chances were there to be taken.

Men's pairs Rob and Billy qualified in a very tough section winning 5 from 5 then crumbling in there first knockout game against bluff.

In the singles Jamie went through to the consultation were she ended up 5th equal going out to Hornby.
Rob and Billy both qualified in the men's singles Rob got knocked out early.
But Billy managed to push on thru eventually going down to Haupai puha the only kiwi to hold a pdc tour card Billy did manage to get a leg of him thou and finished in the top 16 in NZ great darts.

Cheers to the Richmond club our executives and all the players that made it such a great week.

A great week had by three of our club members who traveled up to Hamilton to represent Nelson club sun city darts at the NZDC nationals and also represent the regional tasman rep team which all three players made.
William Boyce snagged a top 64 finish in the nz open while we waited for our delayed ferry top darts Billy.
Robbie Channells and Jamie Taylor played in the mixed pairs they ended up 5th equal in the consultation rnd going dwn to a Wellington pairing.
In the national singles rob qualified with 4 out of 5
In his qualifying.
with scores tied in his knockout match 2 all Rob threw a triple 20 single 14 and then hit double tops 114 finish fist pumps to then relise he had 104 😆 🤣.
Allways double check your scores and if unsure ask the chalker people.
Rob and billy paired up in the men's pairs and played some fantastic darts hitting a couple of 180s each along the way they lost to a upper hut pairing in the knockouts after being 2 nil up and missing match darts finishing 17th equal good pressure even our freinds watching felt it.
Cheers New Zealand darts council great event 3 weeks and of to Christchurch for the clubs NZ nationals.

Karen John Billy and phill all qualified for the main round
Jamie managed to beat Jude from dobson in the plate final great darts from all of you.
Sunday was mixed pairs Rob and jamie qualified for the main round .
Great weekend away cheers Steve and the dobson club for hosting.
And congratulations Rasmussen Gavin now a life member for the seddon sheild.
