Hi all. Training update for FTKD. With this level 2/3 split in the Waikato here is an update for attending training. If you answer “yes” to any of the following please do not come to training.
1. You reside in the level 3 zone.
2. You or a member of your household bubble travels into the level 3 zone for essential work.
3. You’re feeling unwell.
4. Just feel a bit unsure about it all and would rather be extra cautious.
Thanks. Instructor Nigel

Day 25 of 25. One hand push-ups (half each arm)

Stats NZ suggest 1 in 6 have been diagnosed at some stage with a mental health challenge. So it's likely someone you know. Raising awareness for mental health challenges and recognising that impacts on many people is important.

I’ve been nominated by Jordan Rogers to do the 25 push-ups for 25 days challenge to hopefully raise awareness for mental health, anxiety and depression.

The rules are simple:
- Once you are nominated your 25 days starts the following day.
- Everyday you record yourself doing 25 push-ups even if you have to drop to your knees to get 25
- Every day you must nominate a different person.

Let's reach as many people as possible. Let's hope by doing this we can build awareness for anyone who is suffering from a mental illness, you are not alone and we are here for you.
Don't be afraid to speak out!

I'm going to try to do different types of push-ups, just like there are different types of mental health challenges. I don't personally have Facebook and so Today I nominate anyone who wants to raise awareness for mental health, anxiety and depression.

Day 24. Wall assisted handstand push-ups

So this was done in two lots then edited together. Even the handstand was a challenge. I'm doing the challenge because my daughter nominated me and it's for a great cause, especially with uncertainty and pressures we have at present. I'm doing different kinds of push-ups to see if I can.
