Pahiatua Swim Club Welcome to Pahiatua Swim Club! each summer. We are run by a dedicated group of volunteers and welcome all new members.

We are an amateur swimming club that runs a learn to swim program, swimming lessons and squad training from January to April (approx.)

We hope your tamariki are loving Swim Club this season!
Race Night 2 is coming up on Tuesday 10 March. This is the second race night held during the season, where swimmers compete in events and are timed. Race Night 2 will show each swimmer’s improvement, and results from both nights are combined to determine our cup winners at prizegiving.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ Parent and whānau help is essential, especially for timekeeping β€” so please come along if you can. Extra helping hands are always welcome (bring grandma, uncle, everyone!).

πŸŽ’ What to bring:
β€’ Two towels
β€’ Dressing gown, oodie or jacket for between races
β€’ Hot water bottle
β€’ Snacks and water
We’ll start with Bucket 1 & 2 swimmers (widths), followed by Bucket 3, 4 and Squads (lengths).

If swimmers are getting cold, they’re welcome to hop out early. We also completely understand if you’d prefer to keep younger ones at home tonight.

Hi everyone,

The Tararua College Pool is almost ready β€” but not quite! We’ve made the call to run one (hopefully final!) session at the Pahiatua Town Pools tomorrow night, 17th February.

Our Race Night will now be held next Tuesday, 24th February.

Tomorrow’s session times:
🏊 Buckets 1 & 2 – 5.00–5.30pm
🏊 Buckets 3 & 4 – 5.30–6.00pm
🏊 Squads – 6.00–7.00pm

Pahiatua Swim Club – Pool Update πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

A quick update on the Tararua College Pool:

The new pump has been installed and is working well πŸ™Œ

The water will be tested on Monday, and a decision will be made then about whether we can return to the Tararua College Pool for Tuesday night. We will post an update on Monday night.

Race Night 1 is scheduled for this Tuesday 🏁
This will be confirmed on Monday - depending if we can move back to the Tararua College Pool.

We’ll need parent timekeepers, so please come along and support our swimmers!
