🏑 U11 HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME IS BACK! 🏑

We’re excited to announce that registrations are now OPEN for our 2026 U11 Hockey Development Programme!

This 5-week programme is designed to give young players a fun, supportive environment where they can learn, play and develop their hockey skills while building confidence and a love for the game. 💚

Across the programme, players will work on their core hockey skills through fun and engaging sessions, while learning more about the game and developing their ability to play as part of a team.

Whether your child is new to hockey or has been playing for a few years, the programme is a great opportunity to continue developing their skills in a positive environment.

📅 KEY DATES AND COSTS

Programme Starts: Sunday, 11 October
Festival Day: Sunday, 15 November
Weekend off: Sunday 25 October (Labour Day)
Registrations Close: Sunday, 20 September
Costs: $100
Minimum age: 9 by 30th of August 2026
Time: 10:30am-12pm

The Festival Day will give players the chance to put everything they've been working on into practice, with a fun day of hockey to celebrate the end of the programme.

We can't wait to welcome our next group of U11 players and help them learn, play, develop and most importantly, enjoy hockey! 💚🏑

Player of the day for Bush 2 went to Amelia and Willie. They both showed skills on attack and defense making space for lots of goal scoring!

I am pretty sure it would have been easier to herd cats than trying to get these group photos! But that's a wrap for Sunday 🏑 Thanks to all the supporters, parents and grandparents bringing the players over to Palmerston North rain or shine!

Player of the Day for Bush 6 was Lincoln this week! Lincoln put everything we had practiced into his game this week, staying in position and creating opportunities to collect the ball and score. Well done Lincoln!
