🟣 AOTEA NETBALL TRIALS INFO 🟣

🏐 NETBALL TRIALS – SUNDAY 18 OCTOBER

Kia ora koutou,

The weather forecast for tomorrow's trials in Hāwera is looking good, with partly cloudy skies, light winds and temperatures of approximately 12–16°C.

Although conditions should be comfortable for playing netball, it may feel quite cool between games, particularly during the morning session.

We recommend that players:

🧥 Between games: Bring a warm hoodie, trackpants and/or jacket to put on as soon as they come off court. Staying warm between games is important, especially when players have been sweating.

🎒 Pack: A spare dry top, towel, water bottle and snacks to keep energy levels up.

☀️ Sun protection: The UV index is expected to be high (6), so please apply sunscreen before arriving and reapply as needed.

Our advice is to dress lightly for playing, but warmly for the breaks between games.

Trials are scheduled from 10am to 2pm, but most age groups will likely wrap up between 12pm and 12.30pm. Our U15s will likely take the whole time allocation. Please check in early so we are ready to start at 10.00am sharp!!

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! 🏐
