Waitaki Boxing Kickboxing Club Inc is now officially a legit Incorporated Society 🥊

This kaupapa was never just about fighting.

It’s about our people.
Our rangatahi.
Our Men and Wāhine.
Giving our community a place to belong, train, grow and push forward together.

We want to help build:
💪 Better mental health & wellbeing
🥊 Confidence & self defence
🔥 Discipline, purpose & direction
🏆 Competitive pathways
🤝 Strong community connections
🎗 Charity & corporate boxing events here in Oamaru

Honestly this is something our town has needed for a long time.

Right now we’ve been grinding hard running classes out of the Recreation Centre just to keep things moving and sustainable while we build properly from the ground up.

Our next goal is finding our own space to lease long term so we can really open this kaupapa up properly for the whole community.

The dream is to create a space where:
✅ People can train anytime
✅ Rangatahi stay active and focused
✅ Whānau feel welcome
✅ Boxing & Kickboxing classes run at set times for everyone
✅ Positive energy stays around our people

Next week our boys Paea Fifita and Finau Francis head to Christchurch to represent Waitaki Boxing Kickboxing Club Inc for their DEBUT boxing fights at Champ Nation Boxing 🥊🔥

These young fellas have been a massive part of our cultural community here in Oamaru and I’m proud as to take them down there for this experience.

Packed out Canterbury crowd. Big stage. Big nerves. Big memories.
The boys are putting it all on the line and we backing them all the way ❤️
