It was a wet and windy day at the course on Sunday morning, but it didn't dampen the enthusiasm of our junior golfers. A big thankyou to our coaches, Darryl and Dawson. So proud to see the future of our club developing. Keep up the good work. ⛳️

We had a very successful day today, hosting the 2nd round of the Thames Valley Ladies Handicap Matchplay. We had 7 teams and some very tight competition with most fighting it out until the 17th or 18th holes. Our Coromandel Ladies played Mercury Bay today and we all won our matches.
A big thankyou goes out to our Green keeper and team of volunteers for presenting the course in excellent condition. Also thanks to our Tuesday golfers for providing food and goodies for the raffles. And a big thanks to the ladies who worked in the kitchen and office. Our next round is at Tairua in 2 weeks time.

⛳️ Message from Our Green Keeper ⛳️

Our greens are currently very fragile and extremely soft.

🚫 No practice pitching or chipping onto any greens until further notice.

✅ Please use the practice green to the right of No. 7 fairway for all short game practice.

While playing your round, please remember to repair all pitch marks on greens and divots on fairways, help protect the course and keep it in good condition for everyone.

🏆 Men’s Beaver Cup Final 🏆

The final of the Men’s Beaver Cup Handicap Matchplay Competition was held today Ron Brooking V Jeremy Scott.

The match was decided on the 17th hole, with Ron taking out the competition two up with one hole to play. The players then decided to play out the 18th hole to give the gallery in the clubhouse something extra to watch — and what a finish it was! A packed clubhouse gallery watched on in awe during one of the most theatrical finishes our club has ever seen.

At one stage, everyone was convinced Jeremy had won the Beaver Cup — but no! Ron held his nerve and secured the title on the 17th hole.

What an amazing competition from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who competed and supported the event — it was truly appreciated. ⛳👏
