Hi guys, there's a few whispers going round at the minute so I am going to clear everything up here.
Basically my wife has been offered an awesome work opportunity after being out of work for the last year due to covid which has been really tough on us as a family both physically and financially so she has accepted the offer.
The job is in Tauranga which is going to mean a big move for my family.
I have explored every avenue to make things work at both ends but which ever way I work it, it still works out the best for me and my family that I fully make the move as well which means I will not be able to keep on running classes at the hurricanes gym.
So with this in mind it is with a very heavy heart that I am officially announcing that this will be the last term I operate Hurricanes Martial Arts, Bell Block.
This has been a very difficult decision for both me an my family to make.
Hurricanes Martial Arts have been a big part of my life and I have met some amazing people and I hope I have empowered you guys and given you the confidence and determination to keep on with your martial arts journey in some form.
A fellow martial artist is lined up to take over the building and he does have ambitions to keep utilising the building for martial arts however needs a little time to work things out.
I will be running a grading on Saturday 17th April which will be the final day for me as hurricanes director and president. This will act as closure to an amazing term and give the students that achievement for their hard work at the end of a long term.
Anybody who has purchased concession cards over the last 2 weeks will be entitled to a refund on remaining classes on your card so for example if you have 8 clicks remaining on your card today and you usually attend 1 class per week you have 3 weeks to use it so you will be refunded for 5 classes whether you use it or not.
If you bought a card at the start of term and not used it yet there is potentially 11 classes left for females and 6 for males so you have time to use it so this will be factored in.
Anybody who has paid for the term you will have 3 weeks to make up any missed classes.
If anyone needs any clarification please don't hesitate to contact me myself and I will be more than happy to help.
Again this has been a very hard decision to make and not one I have taken lightly.
I would finally like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for giving me the opportunity to work with you guys.

What does this mean for our classes?
SAME RULES AS THE OTHER WEEK SO PLEASE READ.

👉Classes will go ahead as normal.
👉Physical distancing measure will be in place as normal.
👉Handsanitising/handwashing before and after classes needed.
👉Masks are welcome to be worn.
👉Only 1 parent per child in the building at any given time. (parents of older children consider dropping and leaving).
👉No spectators or younger siblings in the training room.
👉Scan in using our QR code.
👉If you at all feel unwell please stay away.
👉If you have been in any of the places mentioned in the taranaki tracing area please monitor your health and any minor changes please consider yours/everybody else's health over your needs.
👉Extra sanitising of equipment is in place.
👉STAY SAFE, STAY HEALTHY, LET'S DO THIS HURRICANES.

Hi guys, a polite reminder all our classes resume tomorrow.
I am really looking forward to welcoming everybody back to their respective classes.
Below is a reminder of the timetable.

2021 TERM 1 TIME TABLE IS AS FOLLOWS AND WILL BE COMMENCING TUESDAY 19TH JANUARY 2021:

TUESDAYS :
Lil dragons - 5.30pm
Junior mixed ability - 6.00pm
Adults kickboxing - 7.00pm

Wednesdays:
Lil dragons - 5.30pm
Junior beginner - 6.00pm
Ladies Only fitness kockboxing - 7.00pm

Thursdays:
Junior beginner - 5.30
Junior intermediate level - 6.15
Adults kickboxing - 7.00

Fridays:
Lil dragons - 4.30 (new time)
Junior freestyle martial arts - 5.15 (freestyle with takedown) (new time)
Ladies 6.30 (new time).

Just a reminder that the prices are slightly different and as follows:
1 class per week - $7 per week (paid full term)
2 class per week - $13 p week (paid full term)
Unlimited class - $15 per week(paid full term)
10 class concession card - $70. (3 month expiry).
Casual drop in fee (no commitment) $10 per visit.

Happy new year to everyone, let's hope 2021 is a successful year for everyone.

Hope you all had a great Christmas and New year and all your goals are firmly set for 2020.

We are starting back to full programs on Tuesday 19th January so am looking forward to seeing you all back.
