RUNZING offers personalized online run coaching and in-person high school development coaching.

Led by former Northern Arizona Elite professional runner Matt Baxter and elite runner Emily Roughan. RUNZING offers personalized online run coaching and in-person youth development coaching. Both ran in college for Northern Arizona University in the United States where Matt was part of three NCAA Division 1 Cross Country team titles. Matt and Emily’s more than fifteen years of experience in the sport has helped them understand how to put together effective training plans, tips on nutrition and recovery, and an overall focus on keeping running fun and social. RUNZING is focused on supporting the running community in their hometown of New Plymouth, New Zealand through their TEAM RUNZING high school group and other local events.

There have been some exciting changes happening at Frontrunner New Plymouth. As many of you know, Emily and I started managing the store a year ago. It has been a pleasure getting to know so many people from our community and helping them find the right shoes.

The store is going through an exciting change. On September 1, Oska Baynes added Frontrunner New Plymouth to his collection of Frontrunner stores. Oska is a valued part of the wider running community and together we have big plans for Frontrunner New Plymouth. Those plans start with providing our community with more fun opportunities in the run space.

The Frontrunner Run Club will launch on October 7 with ASICS New Zealand joining the party.

For any of our RUNZING community who are looking for a fun way to spend your Wednesday nights, get this on the calendar. Emily and I will see you there!

New Zealand Cross Country Championships Results 🚀

What a way to round out the cross country season!

🥉 Lennox Dyer ran an outstanding race to finish 3rd in the U18 Women’s race.

Tayla Sturgeon had a fantastic performance, finishing 7th in the U16 Women’s race.
