What a weekend at Car-Nival! 🔥🏁 The drifting wasn’t going great… the car decided it had other plans 😂 A few broken parts, a few mechanical tantrums and suddenly our session was over! 💀🔧

Still had an absolute blast though — you can’t have a proper drift weekend without a little bit of carnage! 😂 We’ll be back… hopefully with a car that wants to cooperate next time! 🤣🤘

The afternoon drifting session definitely didn’t go to plan 😅

Unfortunately, we were getting oil pressure cuts which meant we couldn’t put together any clean laps. Pretty frustrating when you’re out there wanting to push and the car just isn’t playing ball.

After talking to a few people in the pits who have experienced the same issue, it looks like an Accusump is the next step to help keep the oil pressure where it needs to be. We also managed to snap an axle, which officially put an end to our day and had us heading home on the trailer 😂

Not exactly the way we wanted to finish the weekend, but that’s motorsport! Plenty to learn, plenty to fix, and we’ll be back stronger.

All in all, still an awesome weekend surrounded by some bloody good people. Huge thanks to everyone who helped out, shared advice, and made the weekend what it was. 🤘

What a weekend at Taupo motorsports park, today we came across some absolute legends in their super tidy but extremely fast cars. We met Marcus who owns this amazing Supra . he sent it straight into roll racing champ position NO:1 we at TR Racing were In A position to offer some assistance with his super fast Supra , he was about to pack up for the day with suspected engine issues, we got him back on the track after plugging in the laptop to his ECU and spot a full engine check over to find his issue, he went on to win the 2wd Turbo Roll Racing competition, He wouldn’t take no for an answer and gave us his $500 voucher he won as an appreciation to us who helped him get the big W . This is what makes this Motorsport so great !
