Cue Sports Journey with Agnes Kimura I am representing New Zealand at the Women's World Snooker Championships 19-30 November in Qatar. All help and support is much appreciated.

I have recently won The New Zealand Women's Snooker Nationals held in Gore early July 2016. This enabled me the opportunity to represent New Zealand in the Women's World Snooker Championships held in Qatar 19-30 November 2016. Sponsors are been sought after to cover my accommodation and travel costs. The total amount sponsored will be updated as it changes in percentages. If there are any compani

2026 North Island Open 8 Ball took place at the Levin Cosmopolitan Club 🎱

I participated in the singles event on Friday, May 29, and managed to qualify for third place with a margin of 0.10.

The competition was tough, with some exceptional games, and although I performed reasonably well, I have had better days.

As a result, I advanced to the main event the following day, where I faced Shay Smith.

Saturday, May 30, the main event took place.

I played against Shay Smith, delivering some outstanding pool, but unfortunately, minor errors led to a 4-2 loss.

Subsequently, I played my flight match, and to be frank, without disrespecting my opponent, I felt that I did not perform at my best, losing 2-0, and all I could do was shake my opponent's hand and wish him continued success.

Following the Women's Snooker Trans Tasman Test Match, we extended a warm welcome to the 2026 New Zealand Women's Open.

Held 23/24 May 2026

I had no justification for my subpar performance, except for insufficient practice time at the table.

Although I failed to qualify, I managed to advance to the final of the Trophy event, where I was ultimately defeated by Corien Simpson 2/1.

What a privilege to represent Australia at the Women's Snooker Trans Tasman Test Match alongside Carlie, Rhonda, and Krystal! 🇦🇺

The Mothers Day Tournament, held from May 9-10, 2026, concluded successfully.

My morning session began inconsistently, but performance improved, resulting in 3 wins and 2 losses. I qualified for the main event among the top four scorers 🏅.

Despite a challenging qualifying match on Sunday, I secured victory in the flight.

I also earned the top women's spot 🏆.

The event featured an excellent atmosphere and commendable refereeing by Chris Morgan 🙌.

Congratulations babz on winning the tournament, it was a nail biter last frame, well done ❤️🏆😀

Clubs New Zealand Women's North Island 8 Ball Singles 2026.

My journey through the Clubs New Zealand Women's North Island 8 Ball Singles 2026 presented challenges.

Despite initial difficulties in section play, I secured second place. I qualified 14th overall, achieving a 4-0 victory against Crystalee, then advanced to play Gina, who subsequently defeated me 4-1.

This win over Laurie Jordan in the final elevates me to an official A grader, a significant milestone in my cue-sport pursuits. My gratitude extends to Mike Shaw, the organizer, and all competitors for their participation 🎉. This accomplishment represents a step forward in my athletic journey ✨.

Mount Maunganui RSA Mixed Pairs 2026

Despite my wrist and back issues, I enjoyed the Mount Maunganui RSA Mixed Pairs tournament with John McGrath! 🙌 We reached the semis, and it was great catching up with everyone. Big thanks to Heather, Bob, Arthur, and the amazing ladies for the delicious lunches! So glad I could play without pain. 😊

🎱 Heyball Grand Final Qualifier – Hamilton 🇳🇿

What an amazing experience competing in the official Qualifier for the Heyball Masters Grand Final.

The winner earns flights, accommodation, and entry—courtesy of Joy Billiards NZ—to attend the Masters Grand Final in China this March 2026.

I went into this event with no expectations of winning—my goal was simply to learn, gain experience, and enjoy the journey. And that’s exactly what I did. I loved every minute of it and can’t wait to keep playing and improving.

Event Format:
Double life elimination with handicap in place.

✨ My Matches:
• Received a bye in Round 1
• First match vs Healey White – race to 9 (90-minute timer)
Great games and a fantastic experience, finishing 8–5 to Healey.
• Losers side vs Jonny Shen – race to 7 on time limit
Managed to steal the win with a 7–0 result.
• Losers side vs Maria “Sweetheart” Paul-Bennett
A tough battle, but time ran out with a close 3–2 result to Maria, who advanced to the next round.

I truly loved the day, the competition, and the opportunity to learn from every match. Looking forward to growing, improving, and getting back on the table soon. 💚
