What an awesome weekend for the Battalion team!

On Saturday, we competed at the NZ Grappler West Coast Challenge – Taranaki, and what an event it was. Amazingly well run and probably one of the biggest BJJ competitions Taranaki has ever seen.

Battalion finished 2nd overall out of 24 teams, which is an incredible result and something we can all be proud of.

More importantly, we were proud of the way everyone represented the team. The effort, sportsmanship, and support shown throughout the day were outstanding. Whether you were competing, coaching, helping run the event, or cheering on your teammates, everyone played a part.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the competition happen, the NZ Grappler team for putting on such a great event, and our extended STMA Jiu Jitsu whānau for all the support.

Awesome result. Even better team culture. Proud of you all.
