🥋 Karateka of the Month – Callum & AJ 🥋

Over the past month, our focus has been heavily on grading material — refining our basics, sharpening kata, building fitness and pushing ourselves just that little bit harder.

Two karateka who really stood out during this time were **Callum and AJ**. 🌟

Both have shown fantastic effort, focus and determination in their training. They listened, worked hard on corrections and continued to push themselves each session. It’s not always about being the best in the room — it’s about showing up, giving your best and continuing to improve.

We are very proud to recognise **Callum and AJ as our Karateka of the Month!** 🏆🥋

It started with smiling faces 😁 — they knew grading was nearly over!

Those smiles soon disappeared when Senpai Ange kept them going… and going… for 10 LONG minutes! 😂🔥 I’m pretty sure I wasn’t their favourite person by the end!

It was long. It was gruelling. But NO ONE stopped. Every single karateka finished. 👊💪

What a way for Louise-Mari to finish her grading today! 🥋💛

For her final fight, Louise-Mari stepped onto the mat with one of our adult karateka, Jaime, as she worked towards her Yellow Belt — or as we like to call it, her Gold Belt. 💛

She showed so much courage and determination, standing her ground and continuing to push forward right to the very end. This was the last fight after an already big morning of grading, and she still had plenty of fighting spirit left! 💪🔥

Such a proud moment watching Louise-Mari give everything she had right through to the finish.

Well done, Louise-Mari — you earned that Gold Belt! 💛🥋
