Toned = having muscle + low enough body fat to see it. Unfortunately there’s no magic wand, but there is a simple enough recipe to get there.
1: you need to have muscle to see - so lift those weights babes! 🏋️♀️ And don’t worry, you won’t get “bulky” or “look manly”. It takes a specific type of training to do that.
What you want to do is focus on doing 8-12 reps for your sets with a weight that is challenging but controllable. The last two reps should be a good push😑
2: eat lots of protein - your muscles need fuel to grow and stick around. Give it to them!
3: sleep and recover well. No need to overtrain and go crazy on the cardio. You want to have balance. Aim for at least 3 days of weight training, 1/2 cardio sessions and 1/2 rest days in your week.
4: you may need to drop more body fat. If so, you will need to be in a calorie deficit (consuming less calories than you burn in a day). You can find free online calculators to help figure out what your calorie goal should be.
Once you have a goal, stick to it! Your nutrition will make up 80% of the work in achieving that sculpted look.
5: finally, be consistent dammit. Keep showing up, it won’t happen overnight.
