Honestly, the photos are lovely.

It's why we are there in the first place - capturing your family..

But honestly the other side effects I see on and after a shoot?

These families - mums and dads - realising just how much you love these people.

The simple joy that exists in the ordinary moments of just being together ❤️

I've seen dad's playing - really playing- with their kids - like they are kids again!

And mums snuggling their babies and breeeathing in that beautiful smell of their hair

And mums and dad's really seeing each other for a moment - and realizing their love is what started this whole beautiful moment xx

It's a beautiful thing to witness, and an even more beautiful thing to experience xx

I completely understand that the cost of getting photos can sometimes feel hars to justify.

When you are raising a family, there's always something more urgent to spend money on.

Birthday parties
New shoes
Groceries that somehow dissappear in two days.

Family photos can feel like something you will get to later.

But here's what I think

Photos don't feel urgent until the moment has passed.
Until thr baby curls are gone.
Until the gap toothed smile is filled in
Until your oldest suddenly looks more like a teenager than a child.

Then they become priceless.

Because these photos will be the ones your kids pull out one day when they want to remember what it all felt like.

Pregnancy can feel beautiful one moment and incredibly vulnerable the next... especially when you’re stepping in front of a camera.

But I promise you, if you do choose to show a little skin - its not about having the perfect body... (what even is that anyway...?)

It’s about capturing this season exactly as you are xx

Growing, Powerful, Soft, Emotional and spectacularly beautiful in every way.

But remember - my job is never to make you feel exposed.
