This Saturday, 13 June, Seatoun AFC hosts Petone AFC at Seatoun Park in a massive Chatham Cup Round 3 clash, with kick-off at 2:00pm.

We’re excited to announce that the Garuda Food Truck will be at the ground from 1:00pm, serving up authentic Indonesian street food to keep supporters fuelled throughout the afternoon.

Our Men’s First Team has already produced one of the stories of this year’s competition, knocking out Central League side Upper Hutt City in a dramatic penalty shootout. Now they face another Central League opponent with a place in the final 16 teams in New Zealand on the line.

Seatoun sits among the last 32 teams remaining and is chasing a place in the Round of 16 for the first time in decades. With a proud Chatham Cup history, including triumphs in 1957 and 1958, the club has another opportunity to create a special chapter in its story.

Get down early, grab some Indonesian food from Garuda, enjoy a drink on the deck, and help create a huge atmosphere at Seatoun Park. Bring your family, bring your mates, and get behind the boys as they look to keep the cup run alive.

Last year Women’s Club captain Hannah Wignall tore her ACL playing against Wellington United Sapphires. No surgery but a different recovery process and many many hours of physio 378 days later she makes her comeback game, playing for the Shanties in Women’s 1 yesterday.

Hannah is an absolute inspiration to all and still an integral part of the Women’s 1st team, taking on an assistant coaching role since she’s been injured. Congratulations Hannah, it’s awesome to see you back out on the pitch again, here’s to many more! 💙🩵
