EQUIFEST | Showing

What a weekend doing what we love ❤️

VP Tw***ie Toes
🏆 Mini Championship (LR/FR type) WINNER

VP Little Secret
🏆 Led Pony Championship WINNER
🏆 Open Pony Championship (14.2 & Under) WINNER

Fifth Avenue
🏆 Led Horse Championship WINNER

The Star of the show was definitely Tw***ie. For a baby she coped better than the older ones with the noise, and the hustle and bustle of the showing ring next to the busy food vendors 🎡

Equifest did not disappoint 🩷 such a different & busy environment to ride in but another great opportunity to build on the confidence and coping skills of a little girl and her ponies ⭐️

It’s was so nice to catch up with so many friends and make some new ones - thank you all for following along on our little journey ✨

EQUIFEST

What a weekend!!

Charlotte’s first Show Hunter competition and she chose to take on Cat A at Equifest 💪🏼

After plenty of nerves (and watching a few kids before her struggle with those “scary” fills 😅), Friday saw Charlotte and Babe produce a lovely clear round in the 60cm to take home 4th place

Saturday brought two 70cm rounds (no practice rounds unfortunately). A pesky runout out in the first when the nerves took over and Charlotte slipped into passenger mode 😂🙈 But a visit from one of her favourite humans, C H A R L I S A B I N E (also Babe’s owner ❤️), a good rev-up and some confidence- building in the warm-up made all the difference!

Charlotte went out and nailed her championship round getting all the correct strides down the 4 lines and all the flying changes (she loves doing these 😂🤩) - 2nd Place🥈!!!

We were all so proud!

Learning a whole new discipline comes with a lot to take in - the rules, the etiquette, the jumping AND managing those nerves. It’s a whole new world and Charlotte might not be the bravest just yet but she is loving every minute of the journey.

We are SO lucky to have Babe to teach her the ropes, look after her and build her confidence …. While also making sure she cant get away with being a passenger 😂🙌

A weekend full of learning, confidence building, a few nerves and some huge smiles.

Massive thank you to our team sponsors for supporting our journey ⭐️

Babe looked a picture out there thanks to Cambridge Grains Top Line, Kelato Animal Health GastroAid Everyday & LoosenUp and Equilume mask & UberSnug HorseWear rug to get her coat gleaming 🤩🐴

Melbourne Royal 2026 🎡🎠🎢

“Not every victory is shown with a ribbon” sometimes it’s having the courage to step out in the area, trust the pony and give it your absolute best 🩷

This week, Charlotte had the most wonderful experience of riding Kit, kindly lent to her by the Parker-Eade family, at the Melbourne Royal Show.

This was the first time Charlotte had ridden someone else’s pony at a competition (off the lead) so the whole experience was pretty special. After having one ride the day before they headed off into the oval at Melbourne Royal in a very large age 10 & 11 rider class (17 entries).

They worked beautifully and we are so proud of her 🩷

Cynthia, Delma, Mark, Sasha and Sierra are like our family and we can’t thank them enough for giving Charlotte this incredible opportunity. Kit was a gentleman, Charlotte was safe and composed out in the chaos and she had an amazing ride. Experiences like this build confidence, teach resilience and create memories that last forever.

PS if you look (not even closely 🤣) at every photo you will see how concentrated Charlotte is - it’s fast becoming her signature tongue pose 🫣
