Continuing my tshirts throwbacks.
I had the pleasure of calling 2 of owners friends.

And have completed open workouts as well as ending a roadie in 2017 there.
I remember it well as I had been to a morning class and a lunchtime class at 2 other gyms... both had heavy deadlifts programming.med, I walked in and Glen asked me how I was, my response was as long as there is no more deadlifts I just peachy.........

Guess what... hahahhaa yup heavy deadlifts.....

Anyhoo, I have decided to give ML22.1 a go today. None of the movements affect an injury i am rehabbing so off i went.
Would have been 75th percentile in warrior 40-44 so not bad considering.

Anyone else done this WOD?

What Are the Psychological Benefits of Exercise With Depression?

Improved self-esteem is a key psychological benefit of regular physical activity. When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain.

Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body, similar to that of morphine. For example, the feeling that follows a run or workout is often described as "euphoric."That feeling, known as a "runner's high,"can be accompanied by a positive and energizing outlook on life.

Endorphins act as analgesics, which means they diminish the perception of pain. They also act as sedatives. They are manufactured in your brain, spinal cord, and many other parts of your body and are released in response to brain chemicals called neurotransmitters. The neuron receptors endorphins bind to are the same ones that bind some pain medicines. However, unlike with morphine, the activation of these receptors by the body's endorphins does not lead to addiction or dependence.

Regular exercise has been proven to:

- Ward off anxiety and feelings of depression
- Boost self-esteem
- Improve sleep

The Map of Athletic Progression (MAP) is an engaging tool where members and coaches can visually see the steps to progress in 15 categories of fitness which are designed to give a well-rounded "snapshot" of fitness. This gamification element of the Level Method makes a member's journey into fitness quantifiable and fun and gives coaches "handles" on their athletes in terms of fitness level, appropriate scale options, and goals. The MAP is a tool used by beginners (White belt) to competitors (Red belt) and was designed with the average client in mind (Orange belt) which makes up 90% of most gym's membership!

A systematized operating system for member retention starts with owners and coaches getting in on our online E-learning.
