That’s a wrap to our 2024/2025 Junior Cricket Season. This was the first season of cricket for these Mangawhai young lads (year 5-7) and what a season they have had. Their growth was such a joy to watch each week. They were certainly the team to beat this side of xmas. Congratulations to Zac, Connor, Bekker, Cooper, Lincoln, Brooklyn, Ryder, Kohen, Monty, Leyton, Loki and Konrad who each week went out onto the pitch and gave it their all. 2 losses, 1 draw and plenty of wins were had but the best thing of all was watching these young lads play as a team and watch their love of the game develop. Massive thanks to our sponsor Covermore Insurance, our coaches (Karl, John and Carl) our parents, and of course Northland Cricket for the opportunity.
