🏐💙❤️ **2026 Netball Season Wrap-Up – Manaia Magic** ❤️💙🏐
What an incredible season it has been! As our 2026 netball season comes to an end, we would like to take a moment to say a huge **thank you** to every one of our amazing Manaia Magic players, parents, whānau, and supporters.
To our girls – we are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Throughout the season you have shown commitment, determination, perseverance, teamwork, and resilience. Week after week you turned up ready to learn, improve, and give your best, no matter the result. Watching your confidence grow has been one of the greatest rewards.
This season you've learnt so many valuable skills that you'll carry with you into next year, including:
🏐 Passing and catching with confidence.
🏐 Accurate footwork and pivoting.
🏐 Strong defensive positioning and marking.
🏐 Shooting technique and attacking movement.
🏐 Court awareness and creating space.
🏐 Communication and encouraging your teammates.
🏐 Working together as one team and never giving up.
These are skills that will continue to grow with you, and we can't wait to see how much further you develop next season.
To our wonderful parents, whānau, and supporters—thank you for every early morning, every trip to games, every word of encouragement, and every cheer from the sidelines. Your support means the world to our players and our team.Thank you all for understanding and being patient with us, we are trying to build a network of people to grow the Manaia School Netball Team - we are a small school and we hope numbers of those who are interested and register climb next season.
A very special thank you goes to our coaches **Shannon & Morgan** for generously giving thier time to coach every training and every game throughout the season - Manaia is a small school and we appreciate thier support juggling home life & the netball team, Your patience, encouragement, dedication, and belief in these girls have helped them grow not only as netball players but also as confident young people. We truly appreciate everything you've both done.
Although the 2026 season has come to an end, we're already looking forward to next year! We hope to see even more tamariki keen to join the Manaia Netball family and experience the fun, friendships, and life skills that netball brings.
Congratulations to our amazing **Manaia Netball Team of 2026** from **Manaia Primary School**. You have represented our little school with pride, sportsmanship, and heart, and we couldn't be prouder.
