🩷🏉 Coodas colours spotted in Little Wanganui! 🏉🩷

Long-time Lyttelton local, rugby referee and good friend of the club Dave Sanders recently dug out an old Lyttelton Golden Oldies Pink Panther jersey while helping raise funds for Breast Cancer at a Pink Ribbon Brunch in Little Wanganui.

Dave was MC, Bingo Caller and Auctioneer for the event and proudly flew the Pink Panther colours while supporting a fantastic cause.

It’s always great to see a bit of Lyttelton and Golden Oldies history popping up around New Zealand, especially in support of such a worthy fundraiser.

A big thank you to Dave for sharing the photo and for continuing to be a great ambassador for rugby, community spirit and all things Lyttelton.

💪 Coodas Fundraiser Crew – Thank You! 💪

A big thank you to everyone who gave up part of their Saturday morning to help out with another fundraising shift.

Special shout out to Matthew for organising the job and helping bring in another $500 for the club. Every dollar makes a difference and helps us keep the good stuff happening both on and off the field.

Thanks also to Waz, Bigz, Georgia and Garreth for rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in. Legends. 👏

These fundraising dollars help support the extras that make the Coodas what we are — hosting home games, providing a few well-earned beers and port, helping with apparel, transport opportunities, and other club extras that keep our rugby and social side thriving.

Many hands make light work, and every fundraiser helps make the club a little stronger. Thanks again team! 🍻🏉💙💛

👑🏉 Happy King’s Birthday Weekend Coodas! 🏉👑

Wishing everyone a fantastic long weekend. Enjoy the extra day off, spend time with family and friends, and most importantly stay safe.

🍂 COODAS GAME DAY WRAP – ROLLESTON 🍂

What an awesome autumn day for footy, laughs, and a classic Coodas away game 🏉

A huge cheers to everyone who travelled out to Rolleston — we had an amazing supporter turnout and such a fun crew along for the day. Rolleston is a great away trip and the hospitality was absolutely top notch. The food was incredible and we all headed home with very full bellies 😋

The game was played in true Golden Oldies style — plenty of laughs, good sportsmanship, and fun rugby all round 🙌

We managed to field 12 players, which was fantastic considering we currently have 4–5 regulars sidelined with injuries 💪

Dwayne — outstanding game, great try, and awesome to have him back in the Coodas colours again. A seriously strong returning performance 👏

🍻 DOD (Dick of the Day)
Tam aka “Super Granny” 😅
A rough day at the office featuring:
• A serious hangover
• Untied shoelaces in scrums
• More than one red card
• A small sideline spew
• And a wee tantrum for good measure

That’s commitment to the award right there 😂

💛 CAREY FAMILY PANTRY FILL-UP UPDATE 💛

Yesterday we dropped off the Dylan Carey Family Pantry basket and wow 💛

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Coodas community, Lyttelton Arms patrons, supporters, players, and friends, we were able to deliver a huge basket full of goodies along with $85 cash to help support Dylan and Kiri while Dylan continues his recovery.

The basket was packed with all the things a family needs — biscuits, eggs, bread, roast lamb, pantry staples, household bits and pieces, and plenty of thoughtful extras.

Dylan and Kiri were both incredibly grateful and it was lovely spending a bit of time catching up. Dylan is in good spirits and we even got shown a few of the surgery battle scars 💪

A huge thank you to every single person who contributed, donated, or simply got behind this idea. Community support matters, and this is exactly what clubs and communities are all about.

The family wanted to pass on a genuine and heartfelt thank you to everyone 💛
