Good thing the Triple Stars NZ crew are planning on heading back in June — we prefer our baseball with sunshine, hot dogs, and 30°C, not snow shovels and thermals 😅

After an unforgettable experience as part of the College World Series Village last year, we’re pumped to be gearing up to return to Omaha in 2026. More games, more memories, and hopefully weather that means the only gloves we need are baseball ones.

NZ Triple Stars is opening Expressions of Interest for our 2026 U.S. Development Tour — a high-performance, player-first experience built for athletes who want more than just games… they want growth.

This isn’t a holiday.
This isn’t a sightseeing trip.
This is four weeks of:
⚾ High-level U.S. competition
⚾ Structured training and development
⚾ College pathway exposure
⚾ Learning from experienced American coaches
⚾ Building independence, resilience, and confidence
⚾ Representing Aotearoa with pride

Our 2025 players returned having rated the experience highly — and we’ve strengthened the 2026 programme even further based on their feedback.

Photo of the team in their Red strip. Looking sharp. Finished a game on Saturday against Buena Vista HS. Came away with the W and our boy Taikaha was a force on the mound pitching 7 innings, allowing 1 hit and no runs. Well done Taikaha great work buddy! As the boys prepare to make their way home tomorrow, we are grateful to Creighton University for accommodating the team for the past 6 weeks. Massive thank you to John Stella and Bill Olson Foundation for opening the door to this baseball experience. Thank you to all the teams we have played and the coaches, staff and amazing families we have met. Thank you to our American brothers Dylan, Joe and Andrew for coming onboard and joining our team- appreciate you guys. Thank you to Coach Skip and your family for opening up your home and showing tremendous love and care. We cannot say in enough words the immense gratitude we have to you all. Thank you.
