🥁 SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT 🥁

The second year of the Central Men’s team is here, and we are thrilled to congratulate all the players selected for the 2026 squad. This year’s group brings an exciting combination of experience and emerging talent, with a strong mix of returning athletes and new faces ready to make their mark. We can’t wait to see you on court and out in our communities this season.

The squad will again be led by Head Coach Ali Colledge, with Ponifasio Smith as Assistant Coach, and Ellen Miles as Team Manager – an incredible team guiding our players on and off the court, and we’re excited to continue strengthening the kaupapa for the exciting season ahead.

Whakanuia! Nau mai te tīma Tairanga (Central Men’s) 🙌

We are excited to announce the name Tairanga as the name of our Central Men’s Team.

Tairanga speaks to being uplifted, encouraged and fostered. Through this team we are creating a visible presence for men within our performance environment, inspiring future players and helping grow male participation across our Zone.
The team will take the court for the first time as Tairanga this Saturday 7 March, playing the Pulse Netball at Pettigrew Green Arena at 4pm.
