What a buzz today for the first ever Wellington Mixed Doubles Padel tournament!

16 pairs completed in a straight knockout tournament, the support from the padel community was immense, and the matches provided some real thrillers!

Congratulations to all players, especially those who took home the silverware.

The overall tournament final was an exhibition of incredibly high-level padel, which had us all on the edge of our seats, and on our feet simultaneously!

Tournament winners: Lourdes and Fran
Tournament runners-up: Asoiva and Carlos

Sadly the plate final had to be ended early due to injury, a real shame as both teams battled through the quarter and semi-finals to earn their spot. A rematch may be in order very soon!

That's a wrap for the inaugural Padel House Masters Tournament!

We had 8 men's and 4 women's pairs competing for the titles, and what a day of padel it was. Rallies were long, smashes were hard, and laughs were plenty.
