🍩🍩 DONUT FUNDRAISER!! 🍩🍩
Okay these are actually SO GOOD 🤤 They are the same Fresha Donuts you get from fish & chip shops! I got some in our fundraiser last season and can confirm they are bloody yummy 😂😍
We are selling them again to help fundraise for our Atuitui Māti girls heading to South Island Champs 💚💛
🍩 $25 per dozen
🍩 1 flavour per dozen
Choose from:
Plain Round • Chocolate • Jam • Apple • Custard • Salted Caramel • Triple Chocolate • Black Forest
They come frozen, so chuck them in the freezer and cook them when you want them. Pop them in the air fryer, oven or deep fryer and they come out warm and fresh 😍 The supplier recommends around 5 mins at 180°C in the air fryer, 5–8 mins at 180°C in the oven, or 2 mins each side in the deep fryer.

Apparently the secret to getting the girls to work harder at training is STICKER BRIBERY 😂😂

Get something right = earn a sticker. Apparently the face is the only acceptable place to put them 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣 And we cant even complain because it WORKED! They were trying so hard to get things right just so they could earn more 😂💚💛

Then at lunch time they got to jump on Temu and pick out some new stickers they want… so I think we may have created a monster 😂😂

And before anyone wonders why one poor child only has two 😂 she only turned up for the last 15 mins!

Whatever works I suppose 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣💚💛

PJ FUN NIGHT 💛💚

Last night we swapped the marching gear for PJs and had both our Under 13 and Senior girls together for a fun team bonding night 🥰

There was plenty of laughs, a bit of friendly competition and definitely some chaos 😂 From blindfold challenges and relays to tug of war and everything in between, the girls had an absolute blast!

It was so cool seeing both teams mixed together, working as a whole, encouraging eachother and getting to know one another better. These nights are about so much more than just having fun. We want our girls to feel like one big Atuitui Māti whānau, no matter what team they march in 💛

Safe to say there were some VERY competitive girls... and coaches 😂

💛💚 A LITTLE SEASON UPDATE 💚💛

We have been a little quiet on here lately... mainly because I have been absolutely useless at keeping up with our social media 😂 So Jayda is officially taking over that job! She is younger than me and actually knows what she is doing, so you should hopefully be seeing a lot more of us from now on 😂

We have had such an exciting start to our 2026/27 season with not only our Under 13 team back, but also a SENIOR TEAM this year! 🥳

Both teams have been working hard at training and we are so proud of how everything is starting to come together. There is still plenty of work ahead of us but we are really excited to see what both teams can achieve this season 💛💚

We also celebrated Cook Islands Language Week 🇨🇰🌺 Some of our girls took part in the night put on by the Atuitui Charitable Trust and they did an amazing job! They were rewarded for their efforts with a trip to a circus show which they absolutely loved 🎪🥰

At training that week we also got the girls involved by making their own Cook Islands Language Week posters and learning a little more along the way 🇨🇰

Kia orana everyone. 💙

A slightly different post today.

One of our Atuitui Mati marching families is going through an incredibly difficult time. Little Ohana is currently in Christchurch after doctors found a rare tumour in her thigh bone. While they're still waiting for the final biopsy results, they've been told they're fairly certain it's cancer.

Ohana's big sister is one of our marchers, and their mum, Gemma, was also going to be one of our chaperones this season. Donations will help ease some of the financial pressure on the family and help make it possible for Ohana's siblings to travel to Christchurch to spend time with her during treatment.
