Great night of footy down at the club tonight with our Invercargill Hire Limited Star B’s vs Collegiate Rugby Club.

Great crowd and a great last hit out for our lads before POB next weekend.

Huge congratulations to Star boys Jackson and Mika for your selection in the New Zealand U20s squad.
Everyone at Star is very proud, and we look forward to watching on as you wear the black jersey in South Africa.

Mika Muliaina, Jackson Hughan, and Jay Reihana have all been included in the group of 30, while fellow Southlander Jimmy Taylor is part of the wider training group.

Get ready Star juniors, we are starting practices for Year 6’s, 7’s and 8’s.

Our year 7’s and 8’s will start this Wednesday and our year 6’s will start on Thursday both kicking off at 5:00pm, these times/days will continue until further notice. All other age groups, trainings will get underway after Easter.

Wanting to get involved in coaching/managing our teams? With over 200 juniors last year any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it’s cooking the BBQ on club days.

Haven’t registered yet? Get this sorted so we can get our teams all set up and ready to go for kick off on the 9th of May.

Pre season got underway for our men's teams yesterday at home, big thanks to everyone that came down to support our teams.

Up first was our Invercargill Hire Limited Star B's taking on Blues and coming away with the win 22-7.

Another busy day at Star getting the lights sorted, with the high winds last year we have had to replace the brackets which required all the lights to come down, brackets made up and then all put back together.
