This season we have been lucky enough to have three St Mary's Netball Club members recognised as volunteer of the month! A fantastic achievement and a true reflection of the incredible people who give their time to our club!

What an amazing way to wrap up our 2026 season! We had a short, sharp and sweet prizegiving this morning, enjoying a lovely brunch at The Northern. 🥂🍽️

What an OUTSTANDING season for St Mary’s Netball! 💙

This season we had 8 women’s teams and 2 men’s teams take the court, and what a season it has been!

FINAL PLACINGS:
Reds – 5th, Fourth Grade
Rubys – Runners-Up, Senior Reserve A
Greens – 4th, First B
Blacks – 4th, First A
All Stars – GRADE WINNERS! - First A 🏆
B’s – 5th - Prem (1st in Prem B)
Old Gal’s - 4th - Prem
A’s – RUNNERS-UP - Prem

And our Prem match… what an absolute BEAUTY!🔥
A nail-biting game right down to the final whistle, with the result coming down to just ONE GOAL! 💔

That is how netball is done!

Every team has earned a well-deserved drink and we shall do exactly that tomorrow morning at The Northern Tavern for our Prizegiving! 🥂🍾

It’s what every team works hard for all season, FINALS DAY 💪🏻

Three of our teams are fighting it out for the top spot in their grade, while our other two teams are looking to finish their season as high as possible 👏🏻

It’s great to see the Prem final between two of the top clubs A teams! This will provide some quality netball viewing 🔥

Head to ILT Stadium Southland for a action packed morning of finals netball 🙌🏻

Followed by a well earnt mimosa at The Northern Tavern for prizegiving Sunday morning 🥂

It’s Semi Finals Week!

We are incredibly proud to see 7/8 St Mary’s Teams reaching the semi final stage!

One thing is for sure……there will be a St Mary’s team in the Prem final 🤭

The battle between the Old Gal’s and our A’s will provide some good viewing!

Plenty of action at the ILT Stadium this Saturday

That’s a wrap for our Men’s Teams!

They’ve battled through the highs, the lows and a few challenges that definitely weren’t in the game plan. Somehow they’ve all survived the season, mostly in one piece! And we are very proud of the effort they put in!

Well done lads! Enjoy the well earned rest, the new season will be here before we know it!

Also a huge thanks to the coaches and managers who generously donate their time to make this all happen!

There’s no netball for our teams this Saturday, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get together!

Join us for the last club night of the season at The Northern Tavern, where we will be watching, live and loud the Silver Ferns opening Commonwealth games match!

Tables available from 7pm

Dinner, pints and netball, how good 🙌🏻
