We're hitting the sand this off-season for some chilled-out Set, Spike & Dig action with our Hornby Volleyball crew! ☀🌴
Come enjoy some sunshine, good rallies, and relaxed vibes as we bring the Hornby spirit to the sand.
🔥 There’ll be sausages on the BBQ for our players, cool water to stay refreshed, and plenty of space to kick back (while music is up!)
🧺 Don’t forget your picnic, rug, chair, sunscreen, hat & comfy clothes!
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families welcome — bring the crew and make a day of it!

2025 Beach Volleyball Development Camp

This camp is a great chance for experienced high school aged players to extend their technical skills and ability.

Led by Luis Santana De Mattos who is from Brazil but now lives in Auckland. Luis has been coaching for many years and is currently coaching the New Zealand U19 beach volleyball team and working through selections for the 2026 youth Olympics. Beach Volleyball has taken him on many coaching adventures including the World Champs and Asian Champs. He is incredibly passionate about helping players grow and enjoy the game and we are excited to welcome him to Christchurch.

Luis will be supported by a number of our incredible local experienced beach volleyball coaches. This is a weekend you don’t want to miss!

Dates: Friday 14th and Saturday 15th November
Time: Friday - 10am - 4pm, Saturday - 9am - 12pm
Where: Pioneer Sand Courts, (behind Pioneer Stadium)
