After intentionally getting herself disqualified to escape Mighty Maia at our last show, Premier Champion Victoria Ryan is doubling down. She has officially issued another Open Challenge for New Zealand Uprising on Friday, September 25th!

The champion took the easy way out to keep her belt last month, but now she has a massive target on her back. With the locker room paying close attention, she won't know who her opponent is until the music hits.

When Victoria Ryan issued an Open Challenge for the Premier Championship at Evil Intentions, she wasn't expecting the powerhouse Mighty Maia to walk through the curtain and answer the call!

In her Hughes Academy debut, Maia pushed the champion to the absolute limit. Frustrated and unable to put the challenger away, Victoria Ryan did the unthinkable—she slapped the referee right in the face!

The blatant disrespect resulted in an immediate disqualification. While Mighty Maia walked away with the victory, championship rules state that a title cannot change hands on a DQ. Ryan successfully orchestrated a way to escape Kelston with the gold still around her waist.
