Splinter was mustered on ANZAC weekend April 2025. A mature 12yo Kaimanawa Stallion with no known history, backstory, or traceable lineage; and from Zone 20, the most remote and rugged area of the Kaimanawa Ranges.

Follow Alex & Splinter through Lens of the Wild "a journey of connection, healing and advocacy". They are building a strong bond as they gear up for the Stallion Challenge, a fantastic show of the Kaimanawa Heritage Horses.
