"THE CATS OUT OF THE BAG"

​The Taranaki Airsoft Rangers have officially laid down the gauntlet and challenged W.A.S.P. to a friendly interclub battle—and you know we couldn't say no!

What a honor this is to announce.
​We’re hosting Round 1 on our home turf, and we want the entire community involved. In return, we’ll be packing up and heading down to Taranaki at a later date to return the favor on their grounds.
​Whether you’re W.A.S.P. family or brothers and sisters from neighboring clubs, everyone is invited to jump in, and be part of an epic day of airsoft.

​To welcome the TAR crew after their long drive up, we’re throwing a BBQ lunch shout on the house!

We are still a go for tomorrow, it was not bad weather today, and you'll notice some changes, this is just the start. So see you all tomorrow, cheers from the Team.

The countdown begins ! ! !

The countdown is officially on for our first-ever Time Attack event this Sunday at the Whatawhata field! A massive amount of work has been happening behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to see it all come together.
​Whether you want to test your speed in a single category or conquer them all, here is everything you need to know for the weekend:

​8:30 AM – Gates Open & Sign-in on arrival.
​10:00 AM – Quick Safety Briefing & Kick-off.
​12:00 PM - 1:00 PM – Lunch break
​1:00 PM onwards – The Main Event!
Then announce the winners.
(and if all goes well, we'll squeeze a standard game in here!).

​You can enter one event or take on all of them! Just let us know at the sign-in table so we can scribble you into the running.

​Pistol Range
​Assault Rifle Range
​Sniper Rifle Range
​The Main Event: A grueling transition course using both your pistol and primary!

A slight change though..."it won't matter what type"
It's about getting the best time"
So it won't matter if your rocking Electric, or gas !

​ We have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place certificates up for grabs for each event, plus a special main prize reserved exclusively for the 1st place champion of the Main Event!

Joules Guidelines (The Rules)
​We won't be policing these with an iron fist, but please use these limits as our event safety guide:
​Sniper Class: Up to 3.5 Joules
​Assault Class: Up to 2.0 Joules
​Pistol Class: Up to 1.3 Joules

​(Note: If we get a casual game in at lunch, the standard game limit will be 1.6 Joules).

​ Fuel & Major Thanks
​A massive shoutout to CST Group Ltd for generously providing the BBQ to keep everyone fueled up and firing during lunch!

​We also want to extend a huge thank you to Brent, the field owner, for letting us host this awesome new format, as well as every single person working hard in the background to make it happen.

​ Crew Wanted! (Saturday & Sunday)
​Tomorrow (Saturday): A handful of us will be out at the field setting up the stages. If you have some free time and want to lend a hand, come on out! 9am to 5pm

​Sunday: We are actively looking for volunteers to help things run smoothly. Timekeepers would be a massive help to keep the brackets moving! If you can assist, please reach out to the team directly or let us know.

MEET ROSS BREWER

If you’ve called, or worked with CST Group recently, there’s a good chance you’ve already dealt with Ross.

As General Manager at CST Group, Ross plays a key role in keeping the business moving across our Liquid Waste, Industrial, Water, and Factory divisions. From supporting the team and working with clients, through to planning jobs, improving systems, and helping drive the business forward, Ross is involved across a wide range of day-to-day operations.

At CST Group there is plenty going on, and Ross is usually right in the middle of it.

What he enjoys most about the job is working with a great team, solving problems for customers, and helping CST Group continue to grow while staying true to its values.

At CST Group, we’re here to help, and Ross is a big part of making sure that happens.

FAVOURITE PART OF THE BUSINESS
Ross enjoys the variety. No two days are the same, “there is normally something crappy to sort out” 😊.

OUTSIDE OF WORK
Ross enjoys a good road trip, preferably down a route not travelled before, and spending time with his wife and 3 boys when he’s not working in the business.

DREAM ADVENTURE
A proper family holiday, somewhere warm (a fire at the beach), with a little phone reception just in case it's urgent😊.

FUN FACT
Ross joined CST Group after 17 years working in other teams and has helped grow the business into what it is today.
