Fusion Marching invites you to discover the exciting world of marching, a dynamic and non-contact sport that combines movement, music, and camaraderie. We are currently seeking enthusiastic participants for our Fusion Open Free Choice group, designed for children aged 4 to 7 years, as well as our Fusion Under 13 group for ages 7 to 13 years. At Fusion Marching, we prioritize family, friendship, and fun, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Marching not only promotes self-discipline and self-esteem but also offers a unique opportunity to express creativity through movement. Join us and be part of a vibrant community that celebrates teamwork and personal growth.

Marching Waikato is excited to invite new and returning participants to our upcoming:

🟦 Learn to March Programme
This fun and supportive 4-week programme is designed for anyone wanting to learn the basics of marching in a welcoming, team-focused environment.
No experience needed — just come along and give it a go!

📅 Programme Dates:
Tuesday 10 June
Tuesday 17 June
Tuesday 24 June
Tuesday 1 July
🕠 Time: 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Throughout the programme participants will learn:
👟 Basic marching technique
🎵 Timing and teamwork
💙 Confidence and coordination
🤝 Team participation and discipline

Marching is a fantastic way to:

Nominations are now open for positions on the Marching Waikato Committee for the 2026/27 year.

The Marching Waikato Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 4 July 2026 at 1:00pm at Trust Waikato, 4 Little London Lane, Hamilton.

We are seeking nominations for the following positions:

• President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Coaching Coordinator
• Chief Judge
• Membership Officer
• Publicity Officer
• Committee Members (4 positions)

If you are interested in contributing to the future of marching in the Waikato region, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
