TEAM REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Ōtepoti Tag is back — and it’s time to get your team together!

We’re looking for teams from across our community to join the upcoming Ōtepoti Tag Module at Bathgate Park.

🔵 Juniors — Primary & Intermediate
🔵 High School — Years 9–13
🔵 Opens — Men’s, Women’s & Mixed

Whether you’re from a sports club, school, workplace, community group, whānau, or simply a group of friends wanting to have a go — get a team together and join us!

Tag is fast, fun, inclusive and non-contact. You don’t need previous Tag experience to play.

ŌTEPOTI TAG IS BACK FOR 2026

After a successful first season, we’re excited to announce that Ōtepoti Tag is returning for 2026, and we’re looking forward to making this season even bigger and better.

We’re aiming to kick off in late August or early September, with official dates to be confirmed soon.

Now is the perfect time to start getting your team together.

Whether you’re representing a school, sports club, workplace, a group of friends, whānau, or you’re completely new to Tag Football, everyone is welcome.

This year’s Ōtepoti Tag competition will once again provide players with the opportunity to be considered for selection to represent Otago at the 2026 Tag New Zealand Nationals in Auckland from 30 October – 1 November.

Last year, we proudly took our first representative team to the National Championships. This year, we’re hoping to provide even more players with the opportunity to wear the Otago colours and experience representative Tag Football on the national stage.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing:

• Team registrations
• Competition grades
• Representative opportunities
• Important updates leading into the season

Final Round – Let’s Finish Strong!

Tonight is the final round of our Bathgate Tag Football Module for the 25/26 season, so let’s get down there and finish on a high.

It’s also the final conditioning game for our U14’s team before they travel to Auckland with our U12’s, so come down and support the kids as they get their last run in.

A big thank you to everyone who took part in our very first tag module as a club. Your support means a lot and helped make this a great start for tag football in Dunedin.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all again later in the year, because big things are coming for Tag Football in Dunedin.

So come down for a final run. Everyone is welcome.
