Ellesmere Speedway, Final Round of the Battle of the Sixes Series. Still 4th on points.
Hot Days racing ahead. We unloaded the Red Waka & found she had a hole in the radiator 🥹.
We fixed the problem, then cleaned & set up the car as we had no time last night after racing at Ruapuna. 10 car line up & ready to go.
1st race grid 10 finished 5th car got very hot & we found another hole in the radiator😕
another repair & ready to go.
2nd race grid 1 finished 5th had no traction. So we changed the two rear tires & tightened the car up for the final race.
Feature race grid 6 finished 4th
Ended up 3rd over all in the Battle of the Sixes Series😁🏎️🏎️. Great Race Red Waka
Congrats to Steve Duff Jnr 1st & Andrew Gregge 2nd
Well done all the other competitors for a great Series
And well done again Pit Crew Mitchel, Cheryl & Awhina ready hot day but you all put in the hard yards to help achieve getting 3rd over all.

Ruapuna Speedway 4th round of the Battle of the Sixes Series.
Track looking good, Car looking good & ready to go. A 12 car line up with 3 car from out of town joining us😄. 4th on points for the Series.
1st race grid 10 finished 7th
2nd race grid 1 finished 3rd
Feature race grid 4 finished 4th
Some great racing with some close battles. Ended up with the Duckmanton Driver of the Night😁.
Another enjoyable Race Meeting.
Great work Pit Crew (Cheryl & Awhina) for keeping the car nice & shinny & fast.🏎️🏎️ Well done Red Waka.

What a great nights racing for the Battle of the Sixes Series.
Race 1 grid 8 finished 5th.
Some good hard racing with no contact.
Race 2 grid 3 finished 3rd with a good tussle with Arron all 12 laps & getting ahead in the last corner by half a car length, great racing.
Feature Race grid 2 finished 4
Again competing with Mark Morris for a good half of the race then Andrew Gregge passed us on the out side for the win,then Steve Duff jnr passed us aswell then I was under pressure from again Allan Baily & Cory Duckmanton but held on for 4th.
All 10 cars race hard Fast & Clean really enjoyable meeting.

Canterbury Champs. Ruapuna Speedway
What a night of racing. Congrats to the Big Duck for taking out the Champs, taking 2nd place on the final corner was Steve Duff jnr with Mark Morris taking 3rd. A lot of contact in the 1st & 2nd race with a couple of cars flipping over. The Feature was full of good old hard fast racing.
The Red Waka was fast but made a couple of driver errors 🥹.
Started
1st race Grid 11 finished 8th
2nd race Grid 1 finished 3rd
Feature race grid 6 finished 6th
Finished 6th over all.
