Hurunui Multi-Sport Club We are a small but mighty multisport club servicing athletes in the Hurunui area.

We are dedicated to promoting a fun, inclusive, family-friendly community where our members achieve their goals within the related sports of triathlon, duathlon and multi-sport. Our club was formed on the realisation from a group of multisport athletes that Hurunui was lacking a formal club for our local athletes to help with opportunities in training, racing and social events related to multispor

t. We are a passionate group of athletes with sportsmanship and team camaraderie at the heart of our club. We want to create a supportive environment to help athletes on their journey, whether they are an Elite Age Group Athlete, a Weekend Warrior, or a Social Athlete - we are here to support everyone towards achieving their goals! Our aim is to make everyone feel welcome, build confidence in the realm of Triathlon and Multi-Sport and have an absolute blast while doing it!

What a great first Kids Run Club!

This week we challenged ourselves to a Brunco Test! Everyone is now benchmarked so they can re-test in 3 weeks and measure progress.

Everyone gave it heaps, well done!

Next week we will go for a longer easy run followed by some relays to finish. Allow one hour next week.

P.s adults welcome to join, we had a few keen parents giving the brunco test a go!!

Congratulations to the Mechanical Magnet of the season - James McCone

This award goes to the person who seemed to attract the most mechanical mishaps throughout the season. The winner was chosen based on frequency of mechanical incidents with this person seeming to struggle with the concept of charging his bike gears, which may be due to his few and far between bike rides.
