Thanks to everyone that has supported me this season. Moore Park Speedway prize giving last night - was awarded best presented in 125cc and got 7th in the Moreti Cup competition which is raced between Christchurch and Invercargill. Thank-you and the many other volunteers and family who came to watch at meetings during the season

On Friday we got 3 rounds of racing before the meeting was called. Good number of entries in Junior 125cc - I got a first, third & third.

I’m a third generation solo rider. My grandfather Roger Abel raced for New Zealand and in Eastbourne, England through the 1970s. My father Jonny Abel rode in Christchurch through the early 2000’s. Dad’s passion for speedway has lead to my opportunity to race.
