❄️ WINTER CHALLENGE UPDATE ❄️
Latitude 64 Presents - SIDG Seasonals 2026 | Winter: Te Awa | River. Thanks to NZDSS
It’s been a little quieter than usual from us over the last couple of weeks. Canterbury has been packed with some fantastic disc golf, with events from CDGC, Disc Daddies, and other local groups filling the calendar, and there’s still more to come.
That’s exactly how we like it. The more opportunities people have to get out and play, the stronger our community becomes. While all that’s been happening, we’ve been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for Winter Challenge.
Now we’ve got a few updates to share…
🥏 Course Layout
The layout is almost locked in! We’ve got just a couple more playtests before sign-off, including an open community playtest where anyone is welcome to come along, throw the course, and help us fine-tune the final layout.
This year’s course combines long and short tees, with several teleports returning after plenty of community requests.
🥏 Custom Event Rivers
Manufacturing is well underway, and we’re excited to finally share the first mock-up! Our custom triple foil Rivers feature an awesome ice-textured foil finish and will be available in two colourways.
The best way to guarantee your preferred colour is with a player pack.
🥏 Club Thank You
We want to recognise and thank the clubs helping grow disc golf throughout the South Island.
If 10 players from the same Christchurch club or regular group, or 5 players from the same club outside Christchurch, register for Winter Challenge and include their club name in the registration notes, we’ll refund $5 to every eligible player.
Already registered? No problem. Just send us a message with your club name. Once your numbers qualify, we’ll sort it retroactively.
🥏 Five Weeks To Go
This Sunday marks just five weeks until tee-off.
We’re putting everything into making this our cleanest, smoothest, and best SIDG event yet. Grab a few mates, lock in your spot, and come experience a unique take on Bottle Lake.
