With such limited time on the water racing this season with regattas affected so much by wind, it was great to see all of our squad giving their all and leaving nothing in the tank.

The girls were down on the waterfront screaming their lungs out in support throughout the regatta.

The tent looked amazing and received numerous compliments throughout the regatta.

A massive thank you to all the parents down there supporting, those parents who took on extra jobs and helped with driving, towing, organising, food, decorations and so much more.

A big thanks to Jacqui & the other TIC, and to Kev, George, Phoebe & Alex for all their efforts over the season.

Many thanks to the Distinction Mackenzie Country Hotel Twizel and all their staff for being our girls home away from home during the season.

That brings an end to our regular season, with the Aon Maadi Regatta right around the corner. Best of luck to the squad selected!

Another stunning day down here.
Massive day of heats yesterday.
Some great signs from the girls in one of their few opportunities this season to get unterrupted racing in.
Another busy today of repechage and the start of A & B finals schedule.

South Island Secondary Schools Regatta
Friday March 1st - Sunday 3rd

The girls have safely arrived in Twizel and the boats are all rigged and ready to go for tomorrows racing!

Our brand new Quad will make its debut on the water, and hopefully we will have a chance to have a proper unveiling of this.
Massive thanks to Trust Aoraki Limited & Mainland Foundation & all the sponsors and parents who have contributed towards this.

After a severely disrupted season due to wind, fingers are crossed that the forecast is true and we get 3 full days racing in.

At this stage it looks like live coverage is available Sat & Sunday on the following link: https://rowinghub.co.nz/livestream/

January Training Camp:

With up to 10 schools on the water at times, the lake sure was busy.
Some great organisation down there had a number of opportunities for interschool and in-house racing and training.
With a mixture of wind 😡, rain and sunshine, the girls worked hard as they clocked up approximately 145kms distance rowed over the 5 day camp!

Massive thank you to the parent helpers & coaches for their efforts over this week.
Also thanks to
South Island Rowing for hosting us
Bidfresh Christchurch & Four Square Twizel for keeping the girls fed.
